Playground to be installed in July

City workers began dismantling and removing the playground equipment structure in Prentis Park on June 21 to provide space for a new system.

Once the existing unit has been disassembled, new equipment will be installed during the week of July 10-14. The playground section of the Prentis Park will be closed during the entire transition period.

The Prentis Park Playground Equipment Project was made possible through a $40,000 contribution from the city, as well as $20,000 raised through private fund-raising efforts.
