The second game against the Sluggers put Jenny Bye on the mound in a five-inning game. The team rebounded from the previous loss by scoring an 8-6 victory, given to the starter. Bye gave up six runs on five hits, while registering seven Ks.
With the Stingers leading the contest 6-1 in the second inning, the Sluggers scored four runs in the top of the third, and the predetermined home team responded with two runs. The run scored by the opponents in the final inning was not enough to overcome the eight points on the boards.
