Forty-eight campers attended the District I and II Farmers Union Youth Camp May 31 through June 3 at Swan Lake Christian Camp near Viborg.
Throughout the week campers participated in Farmers Union educational classes, activities, crafts, singing, canoeing, archery, and cooperative games. Campers also put on a short program and talent show on the last night of camp.
District I and II Farmers Union Camp was directed by Denise Mushitz, District I Education Director, and Pat Larson, District II Education Director. Also assisting were Catherine Plihal, Colorado; Jake Amadon, Woonsocket; Paul Schumacher and Jared Hettinger, Stickney; Sherri Christenson, Flandreau; and South Dakota Farmers Union Staff interns Vicki Schumacher and Ashley Vandersnick.
