Again, the score demonstrated a dominating outcome. The visitors couldn't mount much of an offense as Vermillion's Nick Anglin and Brian Hansen shared a four-hit shut out (each gave up two hits).
Anglin registered 7 Ks during his four-inning stint, while Hansen had two Ks in two innings. Alcester used four pitchers in their 17-0 loss.

The opposing coaches had agreed to play one seven-inning game, regardless of the score, so that the players could enjoy more exposure to competition.
