The two-day event (held on June 24 and 25) put the Stingers up against three Rapit City teams and a Denver Class A opponent.
The first game was against the RC Psyclones and Vermillion simply dominated them. Jenny Bye pitched a four-hit, one-run gem, as she recorded seven Ks.

Two members led the team with three runs each: Brianna Brinkman (1 for 1 at bat) and Ashley Ouellette (2 for 3 batting); Jenny Bye chimed in with two runs on 2 for 2 hitting; and Chelsea Houska scored one.
Their second scheduled game was against the RC Sparks, and Brianna Brinkman pitched a five-inning, two-hit, no-run duplicating win, registering six Ks.

Three players scored two runs each � Chelsea Houska, Ashley Ouellette, and Jenny Bye. Brinkman, Ali True, and Molly Lecates each scored once.
The final two games were in the championship round where the Stringers ran into really tough opponents (Rapid City Flames-Blue and Denver CoJets).
In the third game of the day, Jenny Bye did her very best in pitching a seven-inning, five-hit, one-run supreme effort. She struck out 11 batters. The run came when the lead-off girl got on base with a hit, then scored on an error for the next batter. The Flames pitcher gave up one hit and no runs.
The last game was played on Sunday, June 25. Jenny Bye started and went six innings, giving up five runs on seven hits and recording six Ks. The CoJets' starter gave up two runs on six hits, registering 13 Ks.
Jenny Bye and Donica Crichton each scored a run.
The season win/loss record stands at 7-3.
