With the recent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, America is once again faced with returning veterans, men and women, who have seen war close-up and are now expected to return seamlessly to civilian life. In Flashback, Penny Coleman tells the cautionary and timely story of post traumatic stress disorder in the hope that we can sensitively assist those veterans who return from combat in need of help.
NASCAR racing, once considered no more than a regional circuit of moonshiners pounding around low-country dirt tracks, has now become the fastest-growing spectator sport in America. Writer Jeff MacGregor and his wife cover 36 races at 23 tracks to bring fans and readers a smart, funny, and profane kaleidoscopic account of an entire racing season in Sunday Money.
