The DearReader.com Book Club offers many selections to Internet patrons. Each book runs for five days, Monday through Friday. Some genres only offer selections every other week. PRE-PUB: Arizona Dreams, by Jon Talton.

ROMANCE: Three Little Secrets, by Liz Carlyle.

SCIENCE FICTTION: For Us the Living, by Robert A. Heinlein.

TEEN: Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer.

There will be selections for the Audio Books, Horror, Pre-Published, and Science Fiction genres on July 17 and July 31.

VPL news

Wireless Internet has been newly installed for our patron's use. "WiFi" is located by the reading tables in the adult section of the library and electrical plug-ins are available.

Upcoming activities

Sign up for the Vermillion Public Library Pet Show scheduled for Monday, July 17 at 1:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded. To register you favorite pet and receive more information please stop by the library or call 677-7060.

Craft projects and activities are scheduled for Tuesday, July 18 at 1:30 p.m., and the weekly Whiskers Reading Circle will start at 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, July 19.

Get ready for the Young Adult Monstrous Trivia Party on Thursday evening, July 20 at 6:30 p.m. Brush up on your monstrous trivia information for books, movies, and music and join us for a monstrous time!

The Reading Rovers, a fourth- and fifth-grade reading group, are meeting at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 27 to discuss this month's book Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate Di Camillo and watch the video.
