Community club to host info meeting on Aug. 2

The Wakonda Community Club will be hosting a public meeting Wednesday evening, Aug. 2.

The meeting is a free supper meeting to be held in the multi-purpose room at Heritage Manor. Serving will begin at 6:30 p.m. sharp.

It is hoped that immediately following the supper, a questionnaire will be handed out and then the comments will be discussed. No formal action will be taken at that time but the session may give some direction for future action.

Club leadership has been in contact with several planning agencies and it has been several years since the club sponsored a meeting where some thought will be given to strengths and weaknesses, needs and wants.

Be sure to mark your calendar for this event. It is open to the public and we urge all people who are interested in Wakonda and its future to attend.
