JV Teeners drop DH at Yankton
The JV Teener baseball team lost a double header against the Yankton Reds on Sunday, June 25 at Riverside Park in Yankton.

Game one was a five-inning, two-hit shut out, 7-0 for Yankton.

Line scores: Yankton � 7 runs, 8 hits, 0 errors, 6 lob; Vermillion � 0 runs, 2 hits, 9 errors, 3 lob.

Game two was a different affair, but while Vermillion took a 5-4 lead after 3 1/2 innings, Yankton scored twice, building a 6-5 advantage, when a thunderstorm caused the game to be called off.

Brian Hansen was charged with the loss.

Line sores: Vermillion � 5 runs, 4 hits, 1 error, 3 lob; Yankton � 6 runs, 5 hits, 0 errors, 3 lob.

Offensively: Nick Anglin scored a run on 2 for 2 batting, with 1 RBI; Jordan Robinson � 1 for 2, 1 run, 1 rbi; Brian Hansen � 1 for 2, 1 rbi; Cole Andre, Ryan Fishbach, and Evan Hanson each scored a run.

The JV Vermillion Teeners have an 8-8 record.
