This year's theme is "Cruisin On Down To Cornstock," and will kick off the seventh annual fund raiser in the city park.
So wash up those bicycles, cars, tractors, trucks, horses and anything else that has wheels or legs, and bring them over to Wakonda. Floats, bands and dignitaries are also welcome.

Pre-registration is not required, however parade entry line up begins at 11:30 a.m. in the First Lutheran Church parking lot in Wakonda. The parade is scheduled to begin at noon.
Registration for the show and shine car show will begin immediately following the parade, and will run from 1 to 3 p.m. Other events scheduled for the day are volleyball and horseshoe tournaments, children's games, contests for all ages, train rides, tattoos, greased pig contest, petting zoo and the crowning of Little Miss Cornstock. Food vendors will be open throughout the day.
Live music, featuring Clay County Breakdown, Crystal Bleu and Midnight Special, will begin at 5 p.m. on the tennis court in the park.
No coolers are allowed in the park that day.
