In the first game, Kyle Mollet pitched a complete game, giving up five runs on eight hits, six walks, and seven Ks, to claim a 12-5 victory.
Offensively, Reid Meier-kort went 2 for 3, scoring three and driving in two. Mollet scored three runs, on base by walks and an error; Scott Morrison was 3 for 3, with three RBIs; Jeff Donnelly was 1 for 3, with one run, and one RBI; Ryan Gilbrtson, CJ Haakinson, and Jackson Freidel each had a hit and scored a run; and Ben Oberle was 2 for 3, with two runs and one RBI.
Zach lost the second game 9-2 as Vermillion was shut down by a six hitter by Curt Truhe, in the six inning contest.
The Post #1 runs were scored by Oberle, who was on by a single and driven in by Meierkort. Also, Eric McPherson scored on a wild pitch, after reaching base on a hit.
