To be wed

Alison Nelsen and Nick Buckman announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gene and Peggy Nelson, Wakonda. She has been a graphic designer at The University of South Dakota for over three years.

The groom-to-be is the son of Mike and Mary Buckman, Gayville. He is a journeyman power lineman and has worked at Clay-Union Electric for the past six years.

The couple will be wed Sept. 30 at the United Methodist Church in Vermillion.
