There were a lot of lead changes in the game, but the visitors scored five runs in the sixth inning and Vermillion's two-run counter was not enough to overcome the difference in the 18-16 loss.

Every member of the starting roster scored a run. Cole Andre scored three times as he reached base five times (one walk and four singles). Bennett Johnson went 2 for 3, with 2 runs and 1 rbi; Ryan Fischbach � 1 for 3, 2 runs; and Cody Merrigan scored twice, going 1 for 1 with 3 bases on balls.
The second game also was played at Prentis Park and the result was a reversal of fortune as Cole Andre pitched a four-hit , one-run shortened game, to win 3-1.
