Post #1 was again assigned visitor status in the ninth tournament game against Elk Point/Jefferson #134. If you prefer a tight pitchers duel, you were in the wrong place, as the teams combined for 31 runs and 40 hits in the 12-inning shoot out.
Vermillion's Jeff Donnelly started but couldn't go beyond an inning as he gave up five runs on four hits, a couple of walks, and a team error. Ryan Gilbertson relieved and went seven innings, giving up seven runs on 15 hits.

Scott Morrison took over in the ninth and went the rest of the way, registering two Ks, and was charged with three runs on three hits. He was the winning pitcher.
