Jeck was a no show at Wednesday's special city council meeting. He had been contacted the night before, and gave his assurances that he would be present at the meeting.
His chair was vacant when Wednesday's special meeting was called to order. His presence was crucial. The city council couldn't simply have a quorum present. They needed every member that was present at the July 3 regular meeting, a meeting that Jeck had attended.
The city needed him Wednesday. Can we count on him in the future?
