City council will meet August 7

The Vermillion City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7 at the Al Neuharth Media Center.

New business includes setting an initiative election date for the creation of a Crawford Woods bike path and nature preserve.

The council will also take action on an amendment termination for the Dakota Village Mobile Home Park Plan.

Aldermen will also consider a resolution approving the issuance of revenue bonds for landfill trench construction, and authorize execution of a $125,000 grant for landfill trench construction and closure.
