The exhibit, "Preserving Our Past in Images, 1930-1999," features 50 black and white photographs from the USD collection. The exhibit runs through Aug. 27.
Included in the exhibit are historical images of the USD campus and campus events, as well as such people of interest as Chet Baker, Dave Brubeck, Oscar Howe, Robert Penn, and Jimmie and Clifton Daniels, who all represent the history and traditions of USD.

The exhibit was provided for in part with contributions from the Mary Chilton Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution through the Mary Chilton DAR Foundation in Sioux Falls.
Hours for the museum in the Cultural Heritage Center are 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays and holidays. There is a small admission fee for adults; children and members of the South Dakota State Historical Society are always free.
