Fuller began his duties with United Way of Vermillion Monday, Aug. 21.
Fuller most recently worked at The University of South Dakota as coordinator of graduate recruitment. His other experiences include numerous years in higher education and the private sector. Fuller has also had fund-raising experience with a variety of public and private organizations.
Fuller was also a member of the Vermillion City Council for 10 years in the 1970s serving the Northeast Ward.
"I am very excited to be joining the United Way team – it is an excellent organization providing invaluable service to our community and I am looking forward to being a part of it," said Fuller.
Fuller and his wife, Karon, have resided in Vermillion since 1966. Mrs. Fuller was employed in the Human Resources Department at The University of South Dakota until her recent retirement in 2004.

We feel that his strong leadership, work experience and his genuine interest in making a difference for the community of Vermillion will be a perfect fit for our organization," said Mary Merrigan, president, United Way of Vermillion Board of Directors. The Taste of Vermillion, hosted by United Way of Vermillion, will be held at the VHS Commons on Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. There will be a brief program at 6 p.m.
