A creative writing day-camp for area high schools will take place at USD on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sponsored by the Dakota Writing Project and the Vermillion Literary Project, the camp will focus on fiction, poetry, performance of creative writing and songwriting and will culminate in a reading at 4 p.m. in Farber Hall which family, friends, and the general public are encouraged to attend.
Cost is $20 plus lunch – the registration deadline is Sept. 8 and a nomination by an administrator or English teacher at the school that the student attends is required.
