Joyce appointed V.P. of marketing at USD
The University of South Dakota is pleased to announce the appointment of Teddi Joyce as vice president of marketing, enrollment, and student services. Joyce will begin her position on Aug. 31.

As vice president, Joyce will serve as the integrated marketing and enrollment planning and strategy leader responsible for providing vision, inspiration, and strong leadership to a staff of more than 100.

Joyce will help the university with institutional positioning and focus her efforts on new and returning student enrollment goals for USD over the next five years.


Joyce received her bachelor of science in public and corporate communications from Butler University, master's degree in art and communication from the University of Dubuque, and doctorate in philosophy from Southern Illinois University.

Joyce has over 12 years of experience in higher education administration in the areas of planning, assessment, and admissions. Prior to her higher education experience, Joyce served in the area of strategic marketing for Carnegie Communications, LLC.

"I'm thrilled about this opportunity and I am looking forward to working with everyone at The U," said Joyce.

"It will be exciting to build on the momentum of the strategic planning process and share with our students, faculty, staff, alumni and prospective students the reasons why this university is so extraordinary," she added.
