Time to sign up for Head Start

Head Start Pre-Birth through Five, serving Clay, Lincoln, Union and Turner counties, is accepting applications for the current program year. Head Start is a federal program free to income-eligible families.

Head Start provides comprehensive education, health and family support services for expectant women and children ages 0-5 through center-base and home-base options. Carmen Stewart, director, encourages families to apply as openings are filling quickly.
