W.H. Over Museum will honor Neuhauses, volunteers at Aug. 13 birthday celebration
The Friends of the W. H. Over Museum (FOM) will celebrate its 40th birthday with a traditional Over Museum "potluck" dinner and will recognize all of the volunteers who have provided services to the museum since the FOM was established in 1966.

The celebration will be held in Sletwold Hall at the museum on Sunday, Aug. 13, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Bring a favorite dish or entree to share and join in the observance of the FOM's 40th birthday and recognition of those who have done so much to keep the museum operating.

The volunteers' efforts have promoted Dr. W. H. Over's dream of preserving South Dakota's natural, historical and cultural heritage and passing them on to present and future generations. The Friends will also recognize the service and dedication that Dorothy and Otto Neuhaus have given to the FOM and its museum over the last 40 years.
