Will celebrate 60th

Cecil and Viola Kipling will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 25. The Kiplings resided in Vermillion from 1954-1989 and moved to the Atlanta, GA area in 1989.

While in Vermillion, Cecil taught at The University of South Dakota on the education staff and Viola taught in the public schools.

They have three children, Marsha (Sharon Meek life-long friends) Kipling of Atlanta; Gary and Jane Kipling of Plymouth, MN, and Barry Kipling of Snellville, GA. They have five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
