Youth golf season ends with tourney at The Bluffs

Nearly 70 young golfers overran The Bluffs for the final event of the summer youth program, participating in the age-flighted tournament.

Playing holes 2, 3, and 4 from the 100-yard tee box: Boys 7 and 8:

1st – Brett Hanson.

2nd – James Ballaweg.

3rd – Nathan Brady.

Girls 7 and 8:

1st – Maddie Regnerus.

2nd – Kyliegh Chandler.

3rd – Emily Castillo.

Playing holes 1, 5, 7, and 9 from the 150 yard tee box:

Boys 9 and 10:

1st – Paul Schwasinger.

2nd – Joe Swanson.

3rd – Travis Weber.

Girls 9 and 10:

1st – Kylie Kuiper.

2nd – Audry Miiller.

3rd – Teddi Settles.

Playing holes 10, 11, 12, 17, and 18 from the 200-yard tee box:

Boys 11 and 12:

1st – Thomas Walker.

2nd – Jake Hogen.

3rd – Peter Haught.

Girls 11 and 12:

1st – Sarah Hanson.

2nd – Paige Olson.

3rd – Megan Olson.

The youngsters were feted with hot dogs and chips, furnished by Hy-Vee, and soda contributed by The Bluffs after competition was completed. Award medals were issued to the various place-winners, courtesy of The Bluffs Golf Club.
