Eleven contestants from the region competed in the Siouxland Idol Finals Sept. 10 at the Clay County Fair in Spencer, IA.
KPTH Fox 44 went to events all over the tri-state this summer to find the finalists. Two people were chosen from each event, and then the station picked two wild card finalists out of everyone they saw all summer.

The contestants were judged on their singing ability, stage presence, appearance, charisma, and song selection.
Clark's Seattle audition with the national talent show is scheduled for Sept. 19.
He is a graduate of Vermillion High School, and currently a sophomore at Northeast Community College, Norfolk, NE.
