Many members of the Vermillion-based Lane Hogs Cycling Club participated in the Sioux Falls MS-150 bike ride Aug. 5-6.
The two-day, 150-mile ride raises money for the North Central States Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Lane Hogs Cycling Club also sponsored an MS-150 training ride on July 8 to prepare for the event.
Lunch and other training ride supplies were generously donated by Wal-Mart, Hy-Vee, and Jones' Food Center. Last year the Sioux Falls MS-150 raised over $100,000. Collectively, the 23 Lane Hogs who participated as Team Road Kill have already raised over $13,000 in sponsorships, and many are still seeking sponsorships.
More information is available at www.nationalmssociety.org. You may also contact Holly Straub at 624-3049 for names of participants to sponsor.
