Genealogy charting presented by Sioux Valley Genealogical Society

Verlyss Jacobson of the Sioux Valley Genealogical Society will present a class on genealogy charting on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Community Room of the Vermillion Public Library.

Jacobson is a retired teacher of middle school English and math, with 35 years of experience in genealogy research, and is a founding member of the Sioux Valley Genealogical Society.

Both adults and young adults ages 12 to 18 interested in learning skills for keeping chronological charts, lists, and time lines for births, deaths, marriages, and other such family history and genealogical data are welcome to attend this event.
