The Vermillion Farmer's Market continues at the Washington Street Arts Center Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m.
Vermillion High School will present the Irish classic The Playboy of the Western World Friday, Oct. 6 and Saturday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 8 at 2:30 p.m. at the Vermillion High School Performing Arts Center. Tickets will be available at the door and are $4 for adults, $2 for students and senior citizens, and free to those with a Vermillion School District Activity Card.
The annual Chili Blues event will be taking place at the Washington Street Arts Center Saturday, Oct. 7 beginning at 6 p.m. with music by Mike & Jay at 7 p.m. If you're interested in making chili call Tim Hanson at 677-8337.
Gayville Hall in Gayville presents internationally known folk singer Sara Grey and her son Kienon Means in concert on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. Musical hosts John and Susan McNeill will open the show. Tickets are $10 at the door or $12.50 reserved – call 267-2859.
The USD Theatre Department presents Shakespeare's Macbeth, directed by Ronald L. Moyer, Wednesday, Oct. 11 through Saturday Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 15 at 2 p.m. in the Knutson Theatre at the Fine Arts Center.
The Coffee Shop Gallery is currently exhibiting "Sorano, Italy Cinque" – work by five different artists featuring Bobby Alsgaard – through Oct. 21.
