Power outage planned for city

Weather permitting, there will be a power outage for all city of Vermillion electric customers on Sunday, Sept. 24, at 5 a.m. for two to three hours.

East River Electric, who delivers power to the city of Vermillion, is performing scheduled maintenance on their high voltage transmission line serving the city. This work will require a temporary outage to all city of Vermillion electric customers.
