Sobriety checkpoints planned this month

The South Dakota Highway Patrol will be holding sobriety checkpoints during the month of September in the counties of: Lyman, Lake, Charles Mix, Minnehaha, Turner and McCook.

In addition to detecting alcohol or drug impaired drivers, we make use of the sobriety checkpoints to remind the motoring public of the dangers of drinking.
