Vermillion topped the competition with a first place score of 308. The other placers were: Dakota Valley, second, 315; Harrisburg, third, 325; Elk Point/Jefferson, fourth, 337; Canton, fifth, 352; Parkston, sixth, 355; Tri-Valley, seventh, 399; Flandreau, eighth, incomplete team.
Medalist was Nate Barbee of Dakota Valley with a 68. Nolan Meyer of Harrisburg had a 69.

Tanager individual scorers were: Alex Schaack and Jordan Boots – 75 each; Brian Steele and Ryan Powell – 79 each; and Broc Gauer – 80.
The incomplete JV team individual scores were: Mikal Ustad, 76, and Eric Ustad, 78.
"We are playing good enough to win, but to achieve a team score below 300, we must cut down on those one-hole disasters and reduce each member's score by a point or two," said coach Kirk Hogen. "Our next challenge is against Yankton."
