The VAAC continues its USD student art series with "100 Bottles" – ceramics by Grant Lacey – from 8 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13.
The VAAC has started a new semester of art classes for children ages 8 and up on Saturdays and Sundays at the Washington Street Arts Center. Classes include beginning ceramics, bookbinding, paper making and more. For details or to register your child call Susan Heggestad at 624-4766.

Dorian Michael, solo acoustic fingerstyle guitarist, is playing in Vermillion on Friday Oct. 20. He'll be at the National Music Museum at noon and at the Coffee Shop Gallery from 4 to 6 p.m. Both concerts are free.
The Vermillion Literary Project is hosting the 10th annual VLP short story contest on Saturday, Oct. 21 from noon to 3 p.m. in the McKusick Technology Center – the southeast corner of campus in room 101.
