Coach's Comments, Jason Huska (Offensive Coordinator):

"We really rushed the ball very effectively throughout the entire game. Our offensive line did a superb job up front and I thought all of our backs did a great job of running hard and getting the extra yards. Any time you can rush for over 300 yards in a junior varsity contest you have to be pleased with the entire offensive unit's effort. I was extremely pleased with the fact that we only had one fumble the entire game also. It is a real credit to our backs and the way they protected the ball. I truly enjoyed coaching the junior varsity squad this season. We have some excellent young players that will contribute significantly to our varsity next fall."

Roger Heirigs (Defensive Coordinator):

"Our entire defense played very solid football through the contest. Any time you can limit a team's ability to rush the football effectively you greatly enhance your opportunity to win the football game. Most of their rushing yards came late in the game. Their other score came on a breakdown in our punt coverage team late in the first half. This was a true team effort on defense. We really tackled well as a team. It was a good season for our junior varsity, and I'm looking forward to many of these young players contributing on our varsity squad next season.
