Overseas military personnel will get a little taste of home with care packages from Alpha Lambda Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) just in time for Veterans' Day.
ESA's program, Hope for Heroes, simply encourages their some 12,000 members to assemble and send packages as a small way to say thank you and "we are proud of you" to the military personnel serving duty.
Alpha Lambda Chapter did just that by assembling and sending "Cool Ties" as part of their contribution to the Hope for Heroes project. The Alpha Lambda Chapter also contributed phone cards. Community members who would like to participate in this project are encouraged to do so by leaving their contributions with Crystal Monk at the Market Street Cafe.
ESA is the largest third-party donor to the hospital. Always ahead of its time, ESA continues to blaze new trails for enhancing volunteerism in their communities and across the world. Those interested in ESA can learn more by visiting www.esaintl.com or by contacting ESA headquarters at (970) 223-2824.
