Meckling Livestock sends toys to Iraq

The Meckling Livestock 4-H Club thanks the Vermillion community for its help in collecting stuffed animals for Beanies for Baghdad.

The club set out collection boxes in various locations around town for people to place donations of beanies, small stuffed animals, toys, and school supplies. Thanks to the community's support the club sent 97 pounds of toys to the soldiers in Iraq to hand out to the children there that have nothing! It's a small way to say thank you to the troops and to help them with their goodwill to the people of Iraq.
