Only 11 players showed up for the Oct. 17 session. The weather was cold and windy.
The winning team was Harlan Schott, Ken Berin-ger, Dick Kellogg and Jim Grabowski with 37. Second place went to Rich Morse, Turk Pilker, Jack Doyle and Pat Doyle at 38.
Ken Beringer found a creative way of approaching green #15. His ball bounced off the cement cart path and rebounded high in the air, coming to rest only feet from the pin. Dick Kellogg made a 57-foot birdie putt on #17.
If you would like the experience of shooting off the red tee boxes, come to play next week, Oct. 24, as everyone will use the red tee boxes. Registration will be at noon, and play will begin at 1 p.m.
