Junior forward Ashley Ervin, junior defender Katie Freeman and junior defender Brooke Youds were all named to the Academic All-NCC squad for the second consecutive season, while sophomore midfielder Betsy Blacker (Rapid City, S.D.) made her first appearance on the team.
Ervin is an accounting major with a 3.661 GPA. She is third on the USD charts this season with four goals and eight points. On the Coyote all-time career lists, Ervin is second in career goals (26), third in points (64) and fourth in assists (12). She also has 10 career-game winning goals. Last year, Ervin was a NSCAA All-Central Region and All-NCC first team selection.

This year, Katie Freeman has one assist to bring her career scoring totals to three goals, three assist and nine points.
Youds has a 3.743 GPA in an English education major.
Youds has set career-highs with five goals and 12 points. Blackler makes her first career appearance on the Academic All-NCC squad. Her 4.00 GPA was the highest of any player selected to the team.
