Troopers plan to hold sobriety checks

The South Dakota Highway Patrol will be holding sobriety checkpoints during the month of November 2006 in the counties of Brookings, Brule, Charles Mix, Clay, Davison, Lake, Minnehaha, Tripp, and Yankton.

In addition to detecting alcohol or drug impaired drivers, troopers make use of the sobriety checkpoints to remind the motoring public of the dangers of drinking and driving.
