Will wed

Craig and Pam Doss of Hartford, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Doss, to Patrick Danielson, son of James and Barbara Danielson, Vermillion.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of West Central High School and a 2005 graduate of South Dakota State University. She has earned a bachelor's degree in liberal studies and is currently completing a master's degree in student affairs administration at SDSU.

The groom-to-be is a 1995 graduate of Vermillion High School and a 2000 and 2002 graduate of South Dakota State University. He has earned one bachelor's degree in geography with a minor in history and a second bachelor's degree in geographic information science. He is currently working as a contractor to the United States Geological Survey at the national center for Earth Resources Observation Science in Sioux Falls.

The couple is planning a Jan. 5 wedding at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Sioux Falls.
