Roche, Telleria selected as VHS Students of the Month

Annie Roche and Nahuel Telleria were selected as the Vermillion High School Students of the Month for November. They will receive a $100 scholarship from First Bank & Trust for citizenship and leadership throughout their high school careers.

Roche is cited as "very respectful in class and a leader in both the high school and the community" by her faculty endorsement. Her honors include Girls State, Governor's Leadership selection, National Honor Society, All-State in basketball and a State Champion in track.

Presently she has not narrowed her college choices. Her parents are Laura and Mike Roche.

Telleria's activities include oral interpretation, debate, National Honor Society, Governor's Leadership selection and Boys State. According to his nomination, "He completely redesigned the Vermillionaire, creating templates, leading his team as editor, and putting in countless hours after school to ensure that the paper is published and is the best it can be."

His college plans include acquiring a degree in English. His parents are Carlos Telleria and Alicia Goyeneche.
