The Tanagers jumped in front 13-12 after the first quarter, trailed 16-15 after the second quarter, and then trailed 25-20 going into the final period.
"We will need to learn to play together as a team and to handle pressure defense," said Vermillion JV coach Jon Ruevers.
Vermillion connected on 2 of 4 three-point tries and connected on 5 of 14 free throw attempts. The Tanagers connected on 12 of 36 field goal attempts, while Harrisburg was 13 of 34 from the field. Harrisburg sank 1 of 4 three-point attempts and made 9 of 23 free throw tries.
