Coach Upward had the following remarks: "We were short handed for this meet as Emily Renner and Tristen Upward stayed home to take the college entrance ACT tests.

The remaining gymnasts performed very well. They had good beam routines with freshman Sidney Mount leading the way for the Tanagers with a 6.9. The vault team score was a solid 31.85 and Elly Melby led the Tanagers with 8.35.

The best performance of the day for the Tanagers came from Amber Walker's floor exercise. Lorenz's 7.85 was her best performance of the year on floor, and her uneven parallel bars score of 7.95 put her close to a medal. I was extremely pleased with our performance."
