Maggie Youngberg scored a career-high 15 points to lead the 23rd-ranked South Dakota Women's Basketball Team (13-1) to a 90-46 win over Chadron State (0-11) on Sunday, Dec. 31.
With the win, South Dakota won its ninth straight game to improve to 13-1 on the season. For the sixth straight game, USD held its opponents to 55 points or less. In addition, the Coyotes scored 90 points or more for the third time this season.
Youngberg, a sophomore from Yankton, hit a career-best 5-of-9 three-point field goals while grabbing three rebounds and handing out two assists Like the first half, USD head coach Chad Lavin used his entire bench in the second half.
Next for the Coyote women's team is its NCC home opener with Augustana at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6 at the DakotaDome.
