Vermillion Tanager gymnasts were entered at the Madison Invitational held on Saturday, Jan. 13. The Tanagers registered 115.70 points to place fourth in the meet. Madison won with a score of 135.7 Milbank had 124.3 for second and Chamberlain finished in third with 121.4 points. Other teams in the tourney were Wagner, Stanley County, West Central and Winner.
"We probably lost Raychel for the season, on Saturday," commented Coach Mark Upward. "She did her dismount on bars, and her knee buckled. She will have more tests on it this week. I was pleased with our beam and floor at Madison," continued Coach Upward. "We are starting to stick on the beam and that's what we need now."
