Job's Daughters re-institutes Bethel #41 in Vermillion
The South Dakota delegation for Job's Daughters International re-instituted Bethel #41 of Vermillion on Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Vermillion Masonic Hall.

Visitors and supporters from around the state gathered to welcome the newly opened Bethel and support the local youths who participated in the day's activities. Job's Daughters International is a youth volunteer and leadership organization for young women. Vermillion was home to Bethel #41 from 1969 to 1989, but closed due to small membership numbers.

Job's Daughters from around the state who attend college at USD have been working hard for the last two years to reopen the Bethel. The re-institution of Bethel #41 is the first re-opening to occur in South Dakota in over 20 years.

The Bethel has 10 local members and four members who are college freshman. Bethel #41 meets on the first and third Sundays of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Vermillion Masonic Hall.
