The VAAC is offering visual art, quilting and preschool music classes at the Washington Street Arts Center – for more information go to our Web site – www.vaac.org. To register your child for our children's classes, call visual art instructors Susan Heggestad at 624-4766 and Jill Caraway at 202-0618, and music instructor Amanda Vande Zande at 670-9887. Scholarships are available.

The National Music Museum continues its Brown Bag Lunch free concert series with Irish music on Friday, March 16 at noon.


The USD Spring Orchestra Festival is happening all day on Friday, March 16 at the Fine Arts Center – ending with a concert that night.

Andrew Wulf and Audra Larson will be giving a bassoon and clarinet recital on Saturday, March 17 at 4 p.m. in Colton Recital Hall.

The VAAC will be holding its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration on Saturday, March 17, beginning at 5 p.m. Come enjoy corned beef and cabbage, stew, bread, potatoes and more – and music by Mac MacDonald, Owen DeJong, Nick Schwebach and Chris Hoover. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members – family rates available, as well.

The USD Brass Choir & Percussion Ensemble will be giving a concert on Tuesday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Knutson Theatre.

The VAAC continues its USD Student Art Series with a multimedia show by Laurie Johns on Friday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m.
