The VAAC is offering free preschool music classes on Monday, March 12 and 19 at 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday, March 14 and 21 at 10 a.m. at the Washington Street Arts Center. Paid eight-week sessions start March 26 and 28 � scholarships are available. You must register for the free classes with instructor Amanda Vande Zande at 670-9887.
The VAAC is also teaching paper making, bookbinding, ceramics, quilting, healing arts and more at the Washington Street Arts Center beginning in March � for more information, go to our Web site � www.vaac.org. The monthly open mic continues at the Washington Street Arts Center on March 10 at 8 p.m
The VAAC presents the annual St. Patrick's Day celebration on Saturday, March 17 at 5 p.m. Enjoy the traditional corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, carrots, stew and bread ��and music by Mac MacDonald, Owen DeJong, Nick Schwebach and Chris Hoover. The cost is $10 for member and $15 for non-members.
