On Sunday March 25, the public is invited to join the members of Faith United in a day of celebration at the church in rural Volin during their Sunday morning worship service at 9:30 a.m. This service will include a farewell for interim Pastor Leroy Iseminger, who had served this parish for this past year.
The service will also include the installation of Velma Larson, newly synodically authorized minister, who began serving this congregation on March 15. Velma is the daughter of long-time Volin resident Helen Severson and the late Mel Severson. Velma and her husband Phillip recently moved to Volin from a long residency in rural Wisconsin.
A potluck meal will be served following the worship service. The newly installed elevator is available for easy access to the fellowship room.
Faith United is located at 44874 303rd St., two miles north, and one-half mile west from Volin, or eight-and-one-half miles east of the Volin turnoff on Highway 81, or three miles west, six miles south and one-half mile east from Irene. Worship begins each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. Visitors are always welcome!
