Current plans include instituting a Guest Collection Program which will make it possible for individuals, families, and community groups to exhibit their collections in the museum on a short term loan basis.
To date, two guest collections have been displayed – Sharon (Johnson) Andrew's spice container collection and Ray Decker's firefighter's collection. Interested parties should contact the museum at 605-677-5228 to apply for the Guest Collections Program. The Exhibits Committee will process the applications, contact applicants, and schedule the collections which are accepted for exhibit individually in the order that they are received. Guest collections which center around a specific theme that fits a holiday or a specific date or season will be scheduled for exhibit accordingly.
