Alex Schaack started on the mound and went four innings giving up one run on four hits, recording two Ks and no walks. He was relieved by J.R. Moore who pitched two innings, walked two, recorded two Ks, two hits, and one run (he was awarded the win), as Zach earned a save by shutting down the opposition when a error became an out with the runner attempting to score and being thrown out (5-2) for the final out of the game.

Vermillion rode the shoulders of pitcher, Zach Weiss, who pitched a two run, five hit complete game, registering 11 Ks while walking two. Weiss also went two for three at bats and scored a run.
